SKI USA - Aspen / Snowmass

The Resort
Nowhere comes close to matching the plus points of this resort. If you are thinking about America then put Aspen at the top of your list and leave it there. Worried by the film star image? Forget it. Yes, the resort has many rich and famous guests but most "celebs" are keen to keep a low profile and like all other "glamorous" ski resorts Aspen is actually filled by ordinary tourists. So for the ultimate skiing experience Aspen / Snowmass has to be the place to go.

The Skiing

Four unique mountains and Epic Runs every day on over 3,000 acres of terrain - Snowmass defies belief. So many runs, so much variety and all of it fun for the every level of skier. Beginners start on the confidence building Village Express lift and the Velvet Falls, Scooper and Dawdler runs. Once you have your ski legs take the Big Burn lift and head over to Sheer Bliss for the widest open runs and powder fields in the West, or drop into the Hanging Valley for the wild ride and incomparable view you'd trade your grandmother for. If it's long cruising runs then they don't come any better than the tree lined beauty of the Turkey Trot, Cascade and finishing on Creekside as you head down to the Two Creek Mexican Cafè.

Après Ski

All of the usual après ski activities (tubing, ice skating, swimming, discos, cafes, snowshoeing etc.) mix with the big brand names in downtown Aspen. An evening window-shopping and celebrity spotting is almost compulsory.

As you would expect the quality of accommodation available is of the highest level. We work with a number of hotels (most are ski in - ski out) in the Snowmass ski area around 20 minutes from downtown Aspen. Please contact our office for more details.
